  Tech4Transparency: Innovating the Sustainability Report
  Develop digital solutions that make sustainability reporting more transparent, accessible, and interactive, improving how organizations collect, analyze, and communicate theirESG impacts.
  
  Design a tech prototype (App, dashboard, platform, or AI tool) that addresses one of the following goals:
  
  1. Data Automation & ESG Tracking → Solutions to automatically collect environmental/social data from various sources (IoT, ERP, APIs) and generate periodic reports.
  2. Interactive Sustainability Report → Turn the sustainability report into an interactive, visual, and accessible experience (e.g.ESG dashboards for stakeholders, digital storytelling).
  3. AI for Transparency and Verification → Artificial intelligence tools to analyze, verify, or benchmark ESG data against industry standards.
  4. Engagement & Education → Apps or tools that raise awareness among employees or citizens about their individual contribution to corporate or territorial sustainability goals.

  “AI-powered employee assistant that estimates workplace-related carbon footprints and gamifies sustainable behavior“
  This smart, employee-focused platform helps organizations make sustainability an engaging part of everyday work. By analyzing mobility, travel, and workspace patterns, it estimates individual and team CO₂ footprints. Employees receive personalized, contextual suggestions—like using public transport, scheduling home-office days, or minimizing business travel—delivered through an intuitive chat interface or dashboard.
  
  Hackathon Goal
  Build an MVP that demonstrates how AI-driven insights and gamification can empower employees to make measurable, sustainable choices turning awareness into collective climate action.

  Show criteria

  In this challenge, participants will build an app, dashboard, or web interface that connects to a server exposing APIs for interacting with different classes of robots. The data available includes both live and static information, and teams are free to decide how best to use it. Each team will also have the chance to test their solution as a proof of concept with real robots from their chosen class, during scheduled time slots. All projects must be open-source to encourage sharing and learning.
