One-third of the food produced worldwide every year is wasted and due to the incredible amount of resources and human capital used, this is destroying the world as we know.

Approximately 7% is wasted directly from the users and the amount of CO2 generated between the creation of the product and the consumption (or the waste) is incredibly high.

UFOOD comes into the world as a prototype of a much larger project to reduce the amount of food wasted and aims to decrease the number of tons of food travelling around the world, pushing people to consume local food and empower local cultures and economies.
